Data stream was supplied after 3 weeks and attitude was you are on your own soCooperation was on very low level( requests for optimization,planining,changes and suggestion wasn't commented or reject.Technical person that was suppling data stream was always busy and I was grabbing 5mins of his time to make a puzzle of what is requested.Other wasn't available cos probably have lot of projects and not enough stuff so no proper specification, feedback or guidance was available.Evaluation of the project was left to customer relation officer.Deadline was known to me in the Sunday eve that Monday 10am would be customer presentation.Styles wasn't supplied at all and feedback was that customer was disappointed of look.After I was 80-90% ready with sample "casper" site then send me JPG with look of totaly different widget and comments that is actually deleting current and making new no big deal.I have give them whole source but this is under any standards of working.
First he gave me to fix the current application despite the name of the project was the clone of flash to flex. I complained by I accept cos he worn me about professionalism.(Was that professional having one project and give other job instead???)After fixing the application of which 2 previous developers have been work and leave (now I know cos of terrible attitude of the customer) he ask me if I would like to make clone in flex. I agreed and give estimate to week to week and have but he insist to 27hrs(actually 700$ with current rate) and I said I could try.This is how his CTO react on the project:"Hi Alex, I believe the looping can be set from within the source code.Also, wouldn't the use of bigger thumbnails in the fisheye will probably fix the onhover-opaque issue as well? Craig, the background of the page is set with CSS and with Flash variables. Alex, I like it a lot. Awesome job again!
